BREWHOSUE CONTROL SYSTEM

Brewhouse control system can be manual, semi-automatic, or full automatic. The degree of automation here is specific to the final actuators.

Manual control system mostly used for pilot brewhouse in-skid brewhouse  and 2-vessel brewhouse , while semi-automatic and full automatic control system mostly used for 3-vessel brewhouse and 4-vessel brewhouse.

Manual control system includes the control panel, VFD, RTD and wiring. The control panel is in a sturdy and watertight stainless steel cabinet, comes complete with below functions:

Temperature display for lauter tun, hot liquor tank and cold liquor tank;

Temperature display for kettle, and manual/automatic temperature controlling the steam jacket heating via solenoid valve (solenoid valve and steam piping excluded);

Hot liquor pump on/off switch;

Cold liquor pump on/off switch;

Wort pump(s) on/off switch and controlled by VFD for pump speed;

Mash mixer paddle motor (if available) on/off switch and controlled by VFD for motor speed;

Lauter tun rake motor (if available) on/off switch and controlled by VFD for motor speed;

Emergency stop button;

RTD will be mounted on the vessels and wired with the control panel to detect the temperature. All internal wirings are pre-connected and tested.

Semi- automatic control system is constituted by a PLC touch screen control panel in in a sturdy and watertight stainless steel box on the work platform, connected with a PLC host in watertight stainless steel cabinet standing on the floor, and VFDs for motors frequency controlling are installed in this host cabinet and controlled via HMI on control panel. RTD will be mounted on the vessels and wired with the host to detect the temperature. All internal wiring is pre-connected and tested.

The typical functions of semi- automatic control system are:

Temperature display for all brewhouse vessels;

Temperature control for mash mixer and kettle steam jacket heating via solenoid valve (solenoid valve and steam piping excluded);

Mash pump, wort pumps, paddle motor and rake motor on/off switch and speed control;

Mash fusion recipe input, stored and performed;

Touch screen control of all automatic process valves (pneumatic butterfly valves are sold separately);

Timer to count the brewing time and record it;

Remote access via internet connection;

Emergency stop button;

Expansion capacity for more brewhouse vessels and cellar tanks;

Upgrade capacity for more automatic functions, such like automatic liquor blending control interface, automatic wort cooling control interface, etc.

Full automatic control system is constituted by a PLC touch screen control panel in in a sturdy and watertight stainless steel box on the work platform, connected with a host in watertight stainless steel cabinet standing on the floor, and VFDs for motors frequency controlling are installed in this host cabinet and controlled via HMI on control panel. RTD will be mounted on the vessels and wired with the host to detect the temperature. All internal wiring is pre-connected and tested.

The typical functions of full automatic control system are:

Temperature display for all brewhouse vessels;

Temperature control for mash mixer and kettle steam jacket heating via solenoid valve (solenoid valve and steam piping excluded);

Mash pump, wort pumps, paddle motor and rake motor on/off switch and speed control;

Mash fusion recipe input, stored and performed;

Touch screen control of all automatic process valves (pneumatic butterfly valves are sold separately);

Timer to count the brewing time and record it;

Remote access via internet connection;

automatic liquor blending control interface;

automatic lauter wort flow rate and volume control interface;

automatic wort cooling control interface;

brew data stored, traced and reported;

Emergency stop button;

Expansion capacity for more brewhouse vessels and cellar tanks.
