PILIOT BREWHOUSE




Pilot brewhouse is designed for a small batch brewing, which is suitable for trial brew, training or special beer producing.

The working volume of pilot brewhouse covers the range of 1.5HL to 3HL, custom-designed to satisfy the client usage and fit the client site.

Standard configuration for pilot brewhouse system includes 2 brewhouse vessels: lauter tun and kettle/whirlpool combined vessel, and S.S. sanitary piping and manual control system.

lauter tun typical features: top manway for grain inlet and maintenance, CIP spray ball, top sparging system, milling false bottom, thermowell, wort recycle with adjustable vorlauf arm, wort level sight tube, rectangular side manway for spent grain out, wort out collector.

Kettle/whirlpool combined vessel typical features: top manway, CIP spray ball, vapor vent port on the top, tangential whirling port, steam jacket or electrical or gas heating, thermowell, upper and lower wort out ports on hollow dish bottom (steam heated kettle), or side wort out port on the low point of slopped plane bottom (electricity and gas heated kettle). Vapor condenser with sparing nozzles is sold separately.

Piping system includes all internal connected pipes for the brewhouse, i.e.: wort piping, sparging piping and CIP piping; also includes the necessary functional assemblies, such like liquor blending system with flow meter, and wort aeration with sterile air filter; and the auxiliary equipment, such like wort pump(s) and heat exchanger; and all fitting, valves and devices in the pipes. Brewhouse pipes material is 304 sanitary stainless steel.
