2-VESSEL BREWHOUSE


two-vessel brewhouse mostly in the volume from 5BBL to 20BBL, which is suitable for a brewpub or tap room. The vessels, process, volume and configuration are custom-designed to satisfy the client usage and fit the client site. Two-vessel brewhouse is most widely commercial-used and with high performance-price ratio.

The system can be heated by steam, electricity or gas; and controlled by manual, semi-automatic or full automatic; and equipped with rake system or not. The mainstream of two-vessel brewhouse is steam heated and manual controlled system, and equipped with rake system when working volume is no less than 10BBL.

Standard configuration for 2-vessel brewhouse system includes 2 brewhouse vessels: lauter tun and kettle/whirlpool combined vessel, work platform, and S.S. sanitary piping and control system.

lauter tun typical features:

top manway, 24V DC LED waterproof light on the top, CIP spray ball, top sparging system, port for grist hydrator, vapor vent port, gear drive and rake system (mostly for the vessel volume no less than 10BBL);

thermowell port, wort recycle with adjustable vorlauf arm, rectangular side manway with manway cover for spent grain-out (mostly for the vessel volume20BBL), or false bottom removal slot (mostly for the vessel volume ≥20BBL);

wort out collector, milling false bottom, false bottom under-flush assembly with spray nozzles, spent grain-out port (mostly for the vessel volume≥20BBL).

kettle/whirlpool combined vessel typical features:

top manway, 24V DC LED waterproof light on the top, CIP spray ball, top water filling port, vapor vent or stack port on the top;

tangential whirling port, side steam jackets (or flange coupler for heat element for electrical kettle), thermowell port, side wort out port (for electrical and gas kettle);

upper and lower wort out ports on hollow dish bottom, bottom steam jackets; or gas burning room for gas kettle, and slope flat bottom for gas kettle and electrical kettle.

Piping system includes all internal connected pipes for the brewhouse, i.e.: wort piping, sparging piping and CIP piping; also includes the necessary functional assemblies, such like liquor blending system with flow meter, and wort aeration with sterile air filter; and the auxiliary equipment, such like wort pump(s) and heat exchanger; and all fitting, valves and devices in the pipes. Brewhouse pipes material is 304 sanitary stainless steel.
