3-VESSEL BREWHOUSE

hree-vessel brewhouse mostly in the volume from 15BBL to 50BBL, which is suitable for a production brewery. The vessels, process, volume and configuration are custom-designed to satisfy the client usage and fit the client site.

The system can be heated by steam or electricity; and controlled by manual, semi-automatic or full automatic. The mainstream of three-vessel brewhouse is steam heated and semi- automatic control system.

Standard configuration for three-vessel brewhouse system includes 3 brewhouse vessels: mash mixer, lauter tun and kettle/whirlpool combined vessel, work platform, and S.S. sanitary piping and control system.

Mash mixer typical features:

top manway, 24V DC LED waterproof light on the top, CIP spray ball, port for grist hydrator with spray device, gear drive with motor for paddle system, vapor vent port;

side steam jackets (or flange coupler for heat element for electrical mash mixer), thermowell port;

mash drain on the center of hollow dish bottom, bottom steam jackets.

lauter tun typical features:

top manway, 24V DC LED waterproof light on the top, CIP spray ball, top sparging system, vapor vent port, gear drive and rake system;

thermowell port, wort recycle with adjustable vorlauf arm, rectangular side manway with manway cover for spent grain-out (mostly for the vessel volume<20BBL), or false bottom removal slot (mostly for the vessel volume ≥20BBL);

wort out collector, milling false bottom, false bottom under-flush assembly with spray nozzles, spent grain-out port on the bottom (mostly for the vessel volume≥20BBL).

kettle/whirlpool combined vessel typical features:

top manway, 24V DC LED waterproof light on the top, CIP spray ball, top water filling port, vapor vent port on the top;

tangential whirling port, side steam jackets (or flange coupler for heat element for electrical kettle), thermowell port, side wort out port (for electrical kettle);

upper and lower wort out ports on hollow dish bottom, bottom steam jackets; or slope flat bottom (for electrical kettle).

Piping system includes all internal connected pipes for the brewhouse, i.e.: mash piping, wort piping, sparging piping and CIP piping; also includes the necessary functional assemblies, such like liquor blending system with flow meter, and wort aeration with sterile air filter; and the auxiliary equipment, such like mash pump, wort pumps and heat exchanger; and all fitting, valves and devices in the pipes. Brewhouse pipes material is 304 sanitary stainless steel.

Semi- automatic control system is the mainstream for 3-vessel brewhouse. Please click  aemi-automatic control system  for details.
